The Death of Dr. Marcus Wells – Poster

1239762_10200443558165717_353150396_n This is the amazing poster that the good folks at Peregrine Creative came up with for, my short story.  I absolutely love it and had to share with you all.  Check out my author blog to find out more about ‘The Death of Marcus Wells’!

Sometimes I surprise myself.  I’ve had this image in my head of one of the characters from my upcoming anthology piece.  I finally got around to sketching it and, hey, its not half bad!  Find out more about the paranormal / horror tale that includes this little beauty on my Authoring Blog

Artist Spotlight – Ben Wooten

I saw an awesome picture of a flying ship the other day and tracked it down to its source: Artist Ben Wooten

This guy does a lot of great stuff, as one would expect from a former artist for Weta.

He does fantastic fantasy and some sci-fi, all very professional and clean.  Check out his gallery on Deviantart

Toumas Korpi – Random Artist Spotlight

So, I saw a cool steampunk picture in my WordPress reader.  The blogger was kind enough to credit the author, which I found on this site.  The artist doesn’t seem to have an active webpage, but while there another artist on that site caught my eye.  This author, Toumas Korp, had a portfolio site.   I really loved his style and the themes employed in his CG art.   So much so, that I decided to do a little tribute here:

Fear and Freedom – Idea Sketch

Sketch5

I haven’t put up any of my own ‘art’ in a while so here’s a little something, I wish I were a better artist and could represent the idea better.  I hope you can see how the creature is freed from its cage, but still conforms to the confined shape it was held in.  The door is open but it lingers near the only thing it knows.
